MEXICO CITY ARCHITECTURE (& SOME GOOD FOOD) GUIDE

Few places have left a lasting impression on me quite like Mexico City. I had a feeling I’d like it, but I never expected to love it this much!

The city is a dynamic blend of old and new: grand colonial buildings, bold brutalist structures, and colorful contemporary designs all coexisting effortlessly. But what truly makes CDMX special isn’t just the architecture; it’s the energy of the streets, the kindness of the people, and the incredible food scene, from street tacos to world-class dining. Life here feels spontaneous and full of surprises. One moment, you’re wandering through a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood; the next, you’re in a lively plaza filled with music and laughter.

But with a city this massive, knowing where to start can be overwhelming. That’s why I created this free guide: to share what I’ve seen, experienced, and loved, and to help make your visit easier. It’s a visual journey through my eyes as an architectural photographer and food lover.

I hope this guide makes the city feel more approachable and helps you explore it your way. And if it does, I’d love to hear about it!

Happy exploring!
